The lilacs are finally in bloom, here in Tangletown. And just in time, I created a nice summer accessory in celebration.

This may truly be my favorite design yet. Knit with two simple lace patterns in the round. There are both written instructions and charts. Fast and easy, even for beginning lace knitters.
Suggested Yarn: Sport weight linen, cotton or hemp.
Shown in: Louet Euroflax Sport Weight, 100 gram/270 yards, Steel Grey, 1 skein.
Yardage: 250 yards [95g]
Gauge: 20 sts/28 rows = 4 inches/10 cm in Stockinette stitch
Needle: 1 set US #2/2.75mm 24″ circular needle or size needed to obtain gauge.
